This Privacy Policy explains what data LightDeck collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to keep this human-readable.
Account data: When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile info (name, profile picture URL). We use this to identify your account and personalize the app.
Business data: Information you enter into LightDeck — your company name, phone, email, address, brand, pricing, customer records, proposals, photos, and uploaded PDFs. This is your data; we host it so the app can function.
Usage data: Basic events about how the app is used (proposals created, exports generated, errors) so we can improve the service. We don't track you across the internet.
Billing data: Stripe processes payments. We don't store your full credit card number. We do store a Stripe customer ID, subscription ID, and metadata about your subscription status.
Cookies: We use session cookies and localStorage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. No third-party advertising cookies.

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate LightDeck. They only get the data they need:
When you create a proposal in LightDeck, you enter your customer's name, address, contact info, and other details. Ordinary product access is scoped to your account and any authorized members you invite; authorized service providers and restricted personnel may process the data as described in this policy. We treat it as your business data, not ours. You are the data controller for your customer records; we are the data processor.
We keep your account data while the account is active. After cancellation, you have a 30-day window to export data or reactivate. After that window, account data may be permanently deleted under our retention process. Deletion requests are handled through account controls or support; backup copies follow their separate security and retention schedule.
We use HTTPS, hosting/database encryption controls, scoped service credentials, and restricted administrative access. No system is perfectly secure. We will handle any incident and required notices under applicable law and our incident process.

LightDeck is a B2B tool for contractors and business users. It is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
LightDeck is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the US, your data is transferred to and processed in the US. By using LightDeck you consent to that transfer.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
